Hi, I'm Kate, the photographer behind Toujours Photography. I specialize in capturing authentic love stories for couples and weddings across the Golden Isles, Savannah, and Jacksonville.Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom always had a camera in her hand, documenting everyday moments and special milestones. Watching her sparked my own love for photographs and the memories they preserve.
That love grew even deeper in 2019 when my life changed forever.
During a summer church camp, I spoke up about challenges I was facing at home and entered foster care in July 2019. That season shaped me into the person I am today. For the first time, I had the opportunity to truly learn, grow, and build a future for myself.
When I entered foster care, I lost nearly everything I owned except a few camp clothes and the photos saved on my phone. Those images became priceless because they were the only connection I had to so many memories. When my phone was eventually taken as part of the process, I lost those photos too.
That experience taught me something I'll never forget: photographs matter.
The moments we capture today become the memories we hold onto tomorrow. Photos tell stories, preserve emotions, and keep life's most meaningful moments alive long after they've passed.
That's why I fell in love with being behind the camera. I realized I didn't want to simply pose for photos anymore—I wanted to create them. I wanted to document real emotions, genuine connections, and the stories that make each person unique.
Today, my passion is helping couples and families preserve the moments they'll cherish forever. Whether it's your wedding day, an engagement session, or a season of life you never want to forget, my goal is to tell your story honestly and beautifully.
And yes—my own camera roll is completely full of photos of my kids.
Life Beyond the Camera
I'm a mom to three amazing children: Everly, Asher, and Blakely.
Becoming a mom has always been one of my greatest dreams. I became pregnant at 18 and welcomed my first baby at 19. Motherhood has taught me the value of slowing down and appreciating the little moments that pass by so quickly.
I'm also incredibly grateful for my husband, who shows me grace, love, and support every day. We were married in September 2024, and together we're building a life we love.
In 2025, our family moved to Coastal Georgia for a fresh start. These days, you'll usually find us enjoying the beach, watching sunrises and sunsets, attending local festivals, or making memories together outdoors.
